Amir Parviz
Amir Parviz is a virtuoso of the santur, a 72-string instrument that bridges ancient traditions and contemporary creativity. With a rich blend of influences from Europe, the Middle East, and India, he has captivated audiences worldwide, including performances at major festivals like WOMEX and Détours de Babel. His work crosses borders, connecting cultures through the timeless sound of the santur.
For this project, a unique visual identity was developed to reflect the essence of the santur and Amir Parviz’s musical approach. The logo and branding were inspired by the 72 strings of the santur, using delicate, thin lines to represent the instrument’s intricate structure and harmonious sound. This design concept was applied across various mediums, including a website that serves as a platform to showcase his work, performances, and collaborations.
Additionally, CD packaging design was created, echoing the branding’s minimalistic yet impactful style, complementing the musical experience with visual harmony. A series of music videos were also produced to capture the depth and emotion of his performances, further amplifying his artistry in both auditory and visual forms. The branding successfully merges tradition with modernity, embodying the fusion of musical cultures that Amir Parviz represents.
