“erics fieber" written by award-winning german children’s writer, "martin baltscheit", tells the story of a boy who has the flu for the first time. it is alternately funny, sad and exciting and explains what happens when someone gets the flu.



the illustrations in this book are an assortment of multi-block linocut prints. in this process each color has a separate block and successive colors are overprinted on the same image. the artworks are printed by an etching press to get the most color intensity.



“erics fieber” is the winner of the best illustrated children's book at “das andere kinderbuch” competition in krefeld and is exhibited at the children's book fair in bologna - italy and the book fair frankfurt - germany.
